When you create a Home Phone account, we may collect information such as:

Phone number verification
We may send a one-time verification code by text message to a mobile phone number you provide in order to confirm that you control that number.
We may process information related to verification attempts, including the phone number, verification status, timestamps and technical information necessary to prevent fraud and abuse.
Household information
Home Phone allows users to create or join a shared household. We may collect information about household members, invitations, permissions, membership status, paired devices and the shared Home Phone number assigned to the household.
Emergency address information
To support emergency calling, we collect the physical address where your Home Phone service is primarily used. This address is used to route emergency calls to the appropriate emergency service provider and may be shared with telecommunications providers, emergency service providers and public safety authorities as necessary to provide emergency calling functionality.
You are responsible for keeping this address current. An outdated emergency address may result in emergency calls being routed incorrectly.
Calling information
To provide Home Phone, we may process information related to calls made to or from a household's shared Home Phone number. This may include:
- Calling phone numbers
- Call timestamps
- Call duration
- Call status and history
- Call routing information
- Information about household members or devices participating in a call
- Voicemail or recordings if those features are offered and enabled
Household members with access to a shared Home Phone number may be able to view call history and information about calls handled by other household members.
Device and usage information
We may automatically collect technical information such as:
- Device type and operating system
- Application version
- IP address
- Device or installation identifiers
- Push notification and calling-related device tokens
- Crash reports and diagnostic information
- Features used and interactions with the service
Payment information

3. Phone Number Verification Messages
Home Phone may send a one-time verification code by text message when you request verification of a mobile phone number.
By requesting a verification code, you consent to receive the verification message at the phone number you provide. Message and data rates may apply.
Home Phone does not use phone verification messages for third-party advertising or unrelated promotional marketing.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Home Phone, including providers of:
- Telephone infrastructure
- Phone number verification
- Push notifications
- Cloud hosting and data storage

Twilio
Home Phone uses Twilio to provide telephone numbers, voice calling and mobile phone number verification. Information necessary to provide those services may be processed by Twilio.
Household members
Information associated with a shared Home Phone number may be visible to other members of the same household. This may include phone numbers, call history, call status, and information identifying which household members participated in a call.
Legal requirements
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

Home Phone is not intended to allow children under 13 to independently create or manage an account.
A parent or legal guardian may create or manage access for a minor as part of the parent's or guardian's Home Phone household where supported by the service and permitted by applicable law.
9. United States Service
Home Phone is currently intended for users in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
